To become a member of the Ontario Soccer League (OSL), your team or club must be affiliated with a sanctioned soccer club that is a member of an Ontario Soccer district.

Each district may have different membership and affiliation requirements. We recommend contacting your local soccer district first to confirm their requirements and determine the appropriate steps for your team or club.

Alternatively, your team may choose to affiliate with an existing sanctioned club within a district. If you choose this option, your team must operate under the identity of the affiliated club, including its club name, colours, jerseys, and logo.

Team Costs

Teams participating in the OSL are responsible for the following expenses:

• Field Costs – Teams are responsible for securing and covering the cost of their home field(s).
• Referee Fees – Paid by the home/hosting team only.
• Caution & Dismissal Fees – $10 per yellow card and $30 per red card.
• League Bond – $500 – Required for new teams only. The bond is not charged again if the team returns to the league the following season.
